A large number of schools compete in our Netball Leagues. Due to the amount of teams, we run three leagues with the teams for each being picked at random depending on the schools who enter them at the start of the season.

Rules

 

Net Height - 2.74m or 9ft.

Size 4 ball.

High Five Netball is a game, which may be played by single sex or mixed teams, using a squad of 7-9 players, of which 5 are allowed on the court at any one time. This includes a maximum of 2 boys on court, with a total of 3 boys in the squad. The game should be umpired firmly to ensure that all players:

 

 1. Obey the footwork rule.

 2. Obey the 1m distance rule.

 3. Do not cause any contact.

 4. Obey the obstruction rule.

 

Matches are to be 4 quarters of 6 minutes each.

 

Please note that during the 2 minute intervals squad member's positions should be rotated, and rotation patterns will be continuous.
